The application window for 2023 has now concluded.
The Trolltech Foundation invites organizations to apply for financial support of projects in developing areas of the world. We primarily do donations.
Guidelines: We will only support projects that empower people in developing areas to help themselves in a broad sense. The projects must aim to become self sustainableExamples of this can be direct support for education, social entrepreneurship, improving living conditions for youth and children, infrastructure projects like water supply, health services etc. We do not award funds for administrative purposes.
It is possible to apply for support for projects that have multiple phases. You may be awarded a lower amount than you have applied for.
It is not given that only one project will be supported. We will make a total assessment of which projects we believe best fulfil the foundation’s purpose.
The foundation may donate, lend or invest in projects.
If you are awarded funds you will be asked to file a report to the foundation at least annually and when the project has been finalized. In this report you must specify how you have used the funds. You also give the foundation the right to publish these reports.
