In 2013 the foundation donated NOK 200 000 to Hope Ofiriha to partly fund the building of a school in Omilling, South Sudan. The funds have been used for purchasing of building materials. The first part of the building project has been finalized, a double classroom block has been completed and classes have been opened for children aged 6, 7, 8 and 9.
Hope Ofiriha is a partnership between European, African, Australian, and North American volunteers who work together to transform the lives of women and children in Magwi County in South Sudan—one of the most poor, remote, and neglected places in the world. They also assist South Sudanese refugee women and children stranded in Uganda and occasionally North Sudan.
